Neuvirth didn’t fold under pressure in the playoffs against the Caps (he practically carried them that series) or against a 39 shot barrage from Vegas the other night. All those prospects you mentioned when discussing a trade involving Lehner would be a drastic overpayment for a middle of the road goalie unless other players from Buffalo are involved. Ride Neuvirth until Elliot comes back...I think Neuvirth is good for a month stretch.

More garbage. The flyers can't trust Neuvirth with their playoff push, who has a career sv% .912 and GAA 2.66 in 246 games. But Lehner is a gamer who the flyers should trade top prospects for has a career sv% .916 and GAA 2.78 in 208 games played.

Neuvirth this season in 18 games is sporting a .917 sv% and 2.50 GAA. Last season he was terrible, but the season before in 32 games .924 sv% and 2.27 GAA.

If he can't get the flyers in the playoffs, Lehner isn't going to do them any better.

Not to mention that Lehner has a ton of experience playing in pressure situations. His 1 loss in the playoffs 5 years ago only means the entire league is lining up to acquire Lehner and add to Buffalo's treasure trove. Philly better hurry up.

If not, give it up Garth. Buffalos RFA’s aren’t worth what you think, and unless they move them for WHATEVER they can get, means another few years of TANKING for a shot at the first or second picks in the draft.

Good GM’s have a plan and stick to it. I’m betting your castaways don’t bring more than a mid round pick, and the young core players won’t be traded.

Garth. Buddy. Michal Neuvirth has better stats than Robin Lehner this year. Michal Neuvirth’s career stats are far superior to Lehner’s career stats. Only a homer would think Lehner is an upgrade over Neuvirth.

The Flyers will not be trading Konecny, Morin or Sanheim for a second rate goalie.

As a Pens fan I would love to see the Flyers "sell the farm" to get what is essentially a rental backup goalie but it will not happen.

I was referring to the castoffs in the trade proposals for Lehner, as he is the one in the latest blog, not Kane.

You may want to understand the subject matter prior to opening your mouth. It exposes your idiocy.

The thing is, the Flyers have NO illusions about competing for a cup this season. None of the players mentioned will be traded for Robin Lehner.

It is just not going to happen.

The only thing sabres players can help with another team is gettem closer to a number one overall pick.
